Our Mission
CanDo Connect CIC was set up to provide short funded projects for children, teens and adults with Additional learning Needs and disabilities in the Swansea and surrounding areas. We aim to reduce Social isolation and improve mental and physical wellbeing.
We also aim to support parents, carers, siblings and families by providing support, wellbeing sessions and Makaton trainings.

What sessions do we run?
At present we are running a funded 6 week Soulsa session for teens and adults with Additional Learning Needs and disabilities.
We also run monthly meet ups for young adults with Additional Learning Needs and disabilties. Activities range from bowling, cinema to bingo, karaoke, craft sessions etc.

What about parent carers?
We provide funded Makaton sessions taught by a licenced Makaton Tutor so that parents and carers can gain knowledge in the language programme using signs, symbols and speech. In turn this can help develop communication between family members.
